The Summer 2011 issue of Trimble Agriculture's StraightTalk is now available.
What's in this issue?
- Repeatable accuracy is the key to a tobacco and cotton farmer's success near Kinston, North Carolina. Straight rows of tobacco and fertilizer savings paid for his investment in Trimble equipment within the first year.
- Sub-inch guidance with cellular-based RTK keeps all operations in line on an integrated hog, corn and soybean farm in Minnesota.
- One of the first rice farmers to use GPS guidance for levee building achieves better levees in less time in Mississippi.
- Farm Works Software® solutions keep application records manageable for a North Carolina farmer in the dairy manure hauling business.
- Data management proves a natural fit for precision guidance on a 2,000 acre farm in south central Michigan.
