Trimble Quantm System Training
Trimble Quantm System training is a comprehensive program which provides the planner with a wide range of skills to operate the system, defining data sets, creating constraints and reviewing alignments.
The training program combines an induction into the operation of the system using specifically developed training data, with hands-on experience of live project data. On completion, the planner will have a comprehensive understanding of the Quantm system, and have reviewed a number of alignments arising from scenarios defined for their own project.
The Trimble Quantm system is accessed on a project basis, with comprehensive training being provided at the commencement of each project.
While the Trimble Quantm system delivers remarkable results by automating the complex calculations and decision process required to investigate millions of alternative alignments, our experience has been that the best results are delivered by skilled planners who understand how to 'drive' the system. All users of the system are expected to have experience in road or rail planning, and preferably with CAD experience (although non-CAD users have also become highly proficient operators of the system).
The training and support program is managed and implemented by the Trimble Planning Solutions Client Service Engineers.
Trimble Quantm System Support
With processing and support centers located around the globe, Trimble provides system operation and technical support to meet the local needs of the project team.
The technical support team will review the initial scenarios submitted for each project to:
- ensure accurate data input;
- confirm that the objectives of the planning team for each scenario will be met by the submitted data set; and
- ensure that the planning team is obtaining the maximum benefit from the Quantm system.
Ongoing support is provided by phone, email and Internet as required by the client. Given the extensive capabilities of the system and the ability to address complex scenarios previously beyond the planning process, Quantm clients are actively encouraged to discuss requirements, challenges and issues with the Client Services Engineer or the Product Application Engineer as the project proceeds.
